How It Began
It all started with two sisters and their mom. Emily and Sarah had been working on their YouTube channel “Sisters Horsing Around” for four years when they decided that they needed a change. Sisters Horsing Around was all about being “fun, engaging, informative, and educational” all while supplying content that was both easy to understand by equestrians and non equestrians alike. But the two girls found it difficult to balance both the educational content with the entertaining content on their channel. Many times, they found themselves going on long stints posting one type of content while the other was being neglected. After much deliberation, they decided that Sisters Horsing Around not only needed a rebrand, but also a split.
Having enlisted the help of their mom, Julie, the three began to brainstorm ideas for how they would continue with the equine educational content. After many name suggestions and weeks of brainstorming, Julie thought of the perfect name. having shared the name with Emily and Sarah, they all realized that the search was over and that they had found the right name. And hence Explore Horses was born.
Explore Horses is the sister site to Sisters Horsing Around and was established in 2022.
